Hot-Hot Chicken Sh*t

We all have our hot-hot chicken sh*t (or the Malay proverb "hangat-hangat taik ayam") episodes. Some more so than others.

In this household, the word 'exercise' is usually received with a lot of enthusiasm.... at first. When any one of us announces that he/she will start an exercise regime on the morrow, everyone else would start giving encouragements, pat on then backs and the likes. But seldom the plan lasts for more than a week.

So when my mom suggested that we paint a badminton court on the driveway (mind you, this will be our third court over the years), we were all for it. So soon after, mom and me laboured over measuring and painting the court. Yes, the men in this family are always good for giving advise but somehow disappears when it was time to do the actual work (OK, so G helped paint one side of the court, so let's give him some credit for that).

Nadiah was so amazed with the newly-painted court, she thought it was a giant hopscotch squares

Dad also had some people constructed the poles on the sides of the court where we can
stretch the net across.

This was over a month ago and right after the court was ready, we all played badminton diligently every evening.
So what happens now? Yep, you guessed it. Just another case of hot-hot chicken sh*t!!
